Restriction Types Defined
When a restriction is selected for a user, that user will not be able to utilize that feature in the system. Restricted features will not be visible to the user.
The following restrictions apply to the Lead Management Module:
Lead: Assign – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from assigning a lead. The “Assign” option will be hidden from the Lead Detail Page’s Sprocket button menu.
Lead: Delete – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from deleting a lead. The “Delete” option will be hidden from the Lead Detail Page’s Sprocket button menu.
Lead: Delete Attachments – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from deleting files attached to a lead. The “Delete Attachments” option will be hidden from the lead’s Files Tab.
Lead: Delete Samples – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from deleting samples associated with a lead. The “Delete Sample” option will be hidden from the lead’s Samples Tab.
Lead: Merge Similar – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from merging leads that have the same last name, phone number, or email address. The “Similar Leads” option will be hidden from the Lead Detail Page’s Sprocket button menu.
Lead: Sync – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from syncing the information from a lead to an integrated ERP (such as QFloors). The “Customer Sync” option will be hidden from the Lead Detail Page’s Sprocket button menu.
Leads: Export – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from exporting lead data into an excel spreadsheet from the Lead Listing Pages. The “Export Leads” option will be hidden from the Lead Listing Pages’ Sprocket button menu.
The following restrictions apply to the Lead Management and the Customer Management Modules:
Notes: Edit/Delete – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from editing and deleting all notes within the system. The “Edit” and “Delete Note” options will be hidden from the icon to the right of each note.
Task: Delete – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from deleting Secondary Lead Tasks, User Tasks, Company Tasks and Contact Tasks from the system. The “Delete Task” button will be hidden from the Secondary Lead Task tray and the “Delete” option will be hidden from the Sprocket button menu on the Task Detail Page.
Task: Delete Attachments – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from deleting files attached to a User Task, Company Task or Contact Task. The “Delete Attachments” option will be hidden from the task’s Files Tab.
Tasks: Export – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from exporting task data into an excel spreadsheet from the Task Listing Pages. The “Export Tasks” option will be hidden from the Task Listing Pages’ Sprocket button menu.
The following restrictions apply to the Customer Management Module:
Companies: Export – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from exporting company data into an excel spreadsheet from the Company Listing Pages. The “Export Companies” option will be hidden from the Company Listing Pages Sprocket button menu.
Company: Delete – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from deleting a company. The “Delete” option will be hidden from the Company Detail Page’s Sprocket button menu.
Company: Delete Attachments – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from deleting files attached to a company. The “Delete Attachments” option will be hidden from the company’s Files Tab.
Company: Merge – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from merging two companies together. The “Merge Company” option will be hidden from the Company Detail Page’s Sprocket button menu.
Contact: Delete – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from deleting a contact. The “Delete” option will be hidden from the Contact Detail Page’s Sprocket button menu.
Contact: Delete Attachments – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from deleting files attached to a contact. The “Delete Attachments” option will be hidden from the contact’s File Tab.
Contact: Merge – selecting this restriction will prevent a user from merging two contacts together. The “Merge Contact” option will be hidden from the Contact Detail Page’s Sprocket button menu.
